What does a website cost?
The question I get asked the most is "what does it cost to build a website?". It's not a simple answer. It's like asking what does it cost to build a house? It really comes down to what do you want the site to do?
Things we need to know to give you an estimate
- Number of pages
- E-Commerce - are you wanting to sell online?
- Content Management - giving you the ability to change copy, pictures, add pages, etc
- Photo and or Video Galleries
- Do we need to do a mobile version too?
- Any custom database development?
- Even the simple stuff like do you have a logo, do you need one?
- Domain registration and hosting
Once we get answers to the list above, we can give you a proposal and flow chart. The flow chart has the navigation layout and lists all the pages. If you are ok with the estimate we start on the design. Next we show you a a sample of the home page and a interior page. Once design is approved the site is moved to production. You can start clicking around the site, adding content and using the content management system. Once you approve the site, we launch it!
